I know this thread must have been done like a hundred times already but i just want some updated opinions and heck i might even buy some of the games that are suggested here.

My personal favourite Classic game is Sacrifice by Shiny entertainment (£6.99 on steam)

EDIT: My personal favourite modern game is league of legends SO EASILY the best game ever!

Yea it has been done hundreds of times but, oh well.

Final Fantasy X is my favourite. No matter what, It's always so much fun going through that game again, I never get bored of it.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent.

It was the first Splinter Cell game that I ever played and it is by far my favourite (though Chaos Theory is the best).

It's a tie between FF7 and Quake 2.

FF7 because it was the single player game which I most thoroughly enjoyed.

Quake 2 because of the insane number of mods and how long I spent playing each of them. I think I regularly played the multiplayer mods Gloom and Action Q2 for 6 years.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic; I love it so much, that I make it a point to replay it every summer.

Based solely on hours played and my nostalgia, I'm going to go with Super Mario Kart.

Probably Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.

But Fallout: New Vegas, Dynasty Warriors 4, Dynasty Tactics 2 and Dawn of War are close behind, in that order.

Also the Crash Bandicoot and Spyro games on PS1 deserve an honourable mention.

Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30.

Uh.
Maze.
ing.

Sadly it is for the original Xbox, even though it might be on Steam (I need to look into that.), but at least I have a newer, if not better, game in the series that IS for the 360.
