Freud was a cocaine junkie though, which makes you paranoid and impotent, so I'm gonna go with the idea you were looking at the physical alter-ego, rather than the mental super-ego. :)
Ignoring the passive aggressive comment. Whether he was a Cocaine Junkie or not is irrelevant, he created the term, so I'll be damned if it doesn't mean what he wrote it up as. Oh yeah, ":)".

Staff knight. Powers would be to use anything I touch to it's full potential instantly, you can guess my weapon. I would wear a long black cape and leather armor. I would be badass!

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought of Sigmund Freud when I saw this thread title.
Maybe it should be renamed to "What is YOUR Superhero Alter-ego?"

Well the work gets firsts, so the ideal super me would be someone who can just have the motivation to work more and stick to tasks I set myself, instead of it being so close to 2:1 and getting stressed.

So, what is your superego?
I think that word doesn't mean what you think it means

superego(noun): The part of the mind that acts as a self-critical conscience, reflecting social standards that have been learned.

You're probably meaning Übermensch or similar.
Ninja'd.

Yeah, I thought capitalisation of "YOUR" in the title seemed weird. I thought this was going to be a thread asking for help with Freud homework.

Instead I facepalmed.

His creation is the mental conscience though; you're putting it forward as

Your super-ego is almost certainly a construct of your own views of your parents/authority figures - combined with personal truths that you hold dear. Not Batman.

'nuff said about that one.

Yes, and I didn't ask which superhero you'd like to be. I'd ask what would be your Super Ego, basically, your "construct of your own views of your parents/authority figures - combined with personal truths that you hold dear.", quoted from you.

That the topic got slightly derailed by someone who thinks his superego is batman isn't really relevant, now is it? Besides, it's a thread, people will damn well post what they wish, even if it's a TL;DR.

Yeah, being the Father of sexual psychology while taking a drug which renders your own ability restricted would seem to be a perfectly reasonable thing to say. And not a personal attack. That would be Freudian guilt.

Which you'll never really know as it's part of the sub-conscious mind...
Especially as you've put it as
Basically, what is the Super-You, the Ideal you would like to be?
Like has been said, you're mixing the Freudian idea of universal guilt/envy over sexual desires with the Nietzschean idea of the Ubermensch, which would correspond to the Freudian Id.

That's why people are confused; you've mixed your terminologies without defining them.

To end this useless "Debate".

People are posting (mostly) as I meant. So, mission accomplished, I got my message through, as unclear as it might have been.

Only by giving people the example of you wanting to be Sherlock Holmes. Everyone who has heard the term before is totally confused.
