It's a black and white male Labrador.

She wants something unique and original for the name.

The names she currently likes are: Jace and Elan.

Any names that you good people would like to suggest?

'Dog'

Funny aren't I? You don't see many other dogs with that name, so it's unique to an extent.

Cerberus? Nice and original.

Actually in some ways it actually is because I don't think many people know much Greek Mythology these days.

Tex.

I like that name. Not sure how unique it is though.

Fenris [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fenris] (shut up, I like how it sounds better than "Fenrir"). It works well, since I assume it's a largish dog (but it would be hilarious if a tiny lapdog was named after a giant wolf that bit off a god's hand)

Not Your Average Woof

I like that. For short: Unaverage or Diffy (Different...but shorter). Or possibly even Fluffums McFluffykins. Woofster. Or Squary.

I tend to name my furry animals after Celtic or Norse people/gods. It has worked rather well. :)
