However as a male dog I would suggest Dogmeat to make it sound tough. Thats what Mad Max named his dog, and we all know Mel Gibson has an excellent taste in Dog names.

Depends on her interests and the dogs job. Does he do anything other than eat, sleep, and cuddle? If so, name him for said qualities.
