I have a boulder. It can't do much in the way of software. BUT, it has survived being dropped from a 3 story building onto concrete.

And your friend across the neighborhood can hear you dropping the boulder and knows it's time to come over. Who needs anything more?

<_< Its not an actual boulder. That's just what the phone is called. Its designed to be able to withstand an unreal amount of abuse. And I do mean UNREAL amounts of abuse. Mine has survived being dropped into a fireplace while there was a fire in there, falling out of a moving truck and onto a highway, falling into a pool, me juggling it and missing, etc. etc. This thing is indestructable.
