The old TV show, Hogan's Heroes, depicting a comedic group of WWII prisoners of war that works as spies for the Allied Powers. The show actually had a successful release to Germany's audience with positive feedback, to my knowledge.
The show was cancelled before the final episode could be completed, with Klink and Schultz escaping Stalag 13 with Hogan.
What was your favorite character on the show?
Mine has to be Wilhelm Klink. The actor was just charming as the part, and his constant (and failed) attempts to support his country's cause just brought me quite a few good laughs in retrospect. Not to mention his constant abuse of the poor, bumbling Sgt. Schultz, who would be a close second.
Ironic that the "bad guys" of the show were my favorite characters.
