umm, 4 shotguns. no knives because having a weapon is just ridiculous. the guns are for hunting.

and having loads of decorative katana's and knives is really tacky by the way, any people who do have them please call an interior designer.
I don't get that, why do you need four shotguns when you have only one pair of hands in which to hold a gun?

I'm so-so on the decorative swords / knives point, it depends. Some people can go a bit crazy, but now that I think about it there has been a sword on my living room wall for many years now, and it really doesn't look out of place.

It kinda scares me that people have so many weapons around these parts...the amount of guns some of you people have, its like your trying to become a one man army. Or a psycho killer.
ones mine, ones a little 410 from when I was little. then dad has his one as well as an older one he just doesn't want to part with for sentimental reasons.

Since "weapons" is fairly vague, I presume you mean weapons that are designed with the specific purpose of causing harm (My Calculus book could make an excellent bludgeon but I suspect that was not an intentional feature).

To that end, I own a Springfield XD .40 Sub-Compact. I used to own other guns but I never really saw a purpose in them. Not being a hunter means that I have no real reason to own a rifle or a shotgun, and realizing that I probably won't ever face home intrusion by people wearing anything resembling body armor means I don't need the firepower of my Colt Anaconda, thus my shotgun and revolver were sold.

I also own a total of 6 foils, and while they are conceivably quite dangerous, the worst I've managed to inflict with them is some light bruising.

Nobody else thinks this topic is just a little on the sad side??? Even more so the amount of people that have listed thier "weapons" because lets face it, the rest of us are just DYING TO KNOW!

I have a weapon! It hangs between my legs. blah blah.

Seriously, all the teenagers listing the katanas/throwing knives & all that bollocks, what a waste of money. Although I exclude a few of the people who take it on as a serious collectors hobby. Like the guy who has the rifle thats been in his family for 5 generations...Thats cool :)

I have a hockey puck that's kinda heavy.
I bet if I threw it hard enough at someones face it would make them regret whatever reason they gave me to throw it.

Here comes my list.

Knives: Not counting kitchen, I have three or four fighting knives, including a modern replica of the famous WW2-era FS fighting knife.

Pistols: Got a fair few of these: a Springfield Armory XD(m) pistol in 9mm, a Sig-Sauer P226, two Walther products, a PPS and a Cold War-manufacture P38, and a Smith and Wesson .38 that needs a new ejector rod.

Rifles: Not quite as many: A custom built AR-15 match rifle in AWB-legal service rifle configuration, and a Mauser-action deer rifle in .30-06

Shotguns: Need Moar: A single Beretta A300-series duck gun with a plug in the underbarrel magazine that gimps the ammo capacity.

That's not counting the various improvised melee weapons I could make with the various books about the house. Nothing like smacking an intruder across the jaw with the collected works of Shakespeare...

I have an electric épée with french grip, that's used in sport fencing. Obviously it's not sharp, so most you could do with it in a real fight would be to poke someone's eye out...

I own a bunch of different knives, but those are not weapons, they are tools. I usually carry a knife with me when I'm at the countryside since it's a multipurpose tool.

Do us, with weapons such as these, need more? I think not!
Silly people with there actual weapons. I have a dragon, these fools have shotguns, it's almost unfair.

As a representative of the British Aisles and most of Europe, I'd just love to say:

You're all bloody mental.

so, because weapon laws in the UK and the Eurozone can be very annoying compared to those in the US (unless you live in California or most of the north end of the Eastern Seaboard), we're straitjacket-wearin, small-animal-torturing nutters? I ask, voice dripping my trademark screwball sarkiness..
