Already pre-ordered so I'm just going to sit here and wait out. I'm very much looking forward to playing it but I've got a couple of other games on the go right now so it's not like I'm just staring at a blank screen.

But when it does arrive, it'll take immediate precedence.

Drink pure cinnamon extract!

Then in my Coma state I'd dream of playing Portal 2 Cinnamon edition, which comes in a red cartridge and has a different set of Pokemon then the Sugar edition. Once I wake up in a day or two I'll have the super powers developed form such a ridiculous stunt of chemical ingestion and use them to raise money to buy the game for real.

Wait several years til it goes on sale for less than $5. Seriously, I only player the first game cause it was free on steam at one point. It was cute but I was not enthralled. I can't see the sequel being more enchanting. Longer and more of the same is not worth $45. Maybe $10 at most, but I do not pay much for mere puzzle games.

Wait a few days for the thing to be released.
I'd also brace myself for a last-minute push-back.

Wait until it gets a price slash during their Holiday sales. It was an okay game, with a neat new game mechanic, and it had a decent sense of humour. It still felt like the original Portal was perfectly placed as an add on with a collection of games via the Orange Box. It didn't feel like a full game worth $50, and unless they release a demo that changes my mind, I'm not buying at full price, or 10% off.

Buy the Razer Hydra motion controller bundle, I guess.
Waht, Hydra is Razer's?? ...wow. Now I get why they sponsored the ARG. I thought it was just cos they were bored, or something. Though... I have a Razer Arctosa keyboard, and it's totally av. Oh well.

From early reports, it is more Half-Life 2 and less Left 4 Dead 2. Aka, it's genuinely substantial, and not - as you put it - "more of the same". The creators have stated that more of the same would be pretty boring.

But quality is not indicative of "what I feel this is worth". I, for example, live in Australia, and if it wasn't available on Steam would happily pay the AUD$110 RRP. Others, like you, just have no interest in it. I have no interest in Call of Duty as a series, yet people happily lined up on launch day in this country to pay $120 for Black Ops. To each their own; it means nothing whatsoever beyond personal disposition.

I would forgo an entire, AI baked cake for this game.

Also, is anyone else having problems with this website being a ***** right now? Posts vanishing then appearing again, new friends not rocking up on your friends list, that sort of thing? Or am I just slowly losing my sanity?

I'd do something completely unreasonable... Buy a PS3 copy. Why? So I get a PC copy as well...

Possible theft.

What?

Like this hasn't crossed your mind before.
It hasn't, too much on steam to risk getting caught bootlegging it
xD Srs comment was NOT srs. But good reason to use offline ps3/360 copies and pray that they wont catch you when you connect to the internet (which they most likely will)

You just keep on trying 'til you run out of cake?
