What would you do in this situation?

I haven't been in this situation, I just thought of it thanks to the "Daughter's prom" thread. Let's say you had a daughter under the legal age of consent, by let's say 2 years, and she had a boyfriend of the legal age of consent or possibly a year older. He comes to pick her up and says that they are going out. For some reason he manages to drop his wallet and a condom falls out.

How would you react? Would you just think of it as him being safe? Would you rage at the thought that he may want to sleep with your daughter? Or would you be okay with him possibly wanting to sleep with your daughter?

EDIT:For argument's sake, your daughter isn't a bad girl, she is actually a really innocent girl(not looking at her through a parent's eyes) and is very easy to persuade. And he is probably, well, clean but on the rough side (not shaven in a few days), wears too much aftershave possibly, leather jacket kind of guy.

Depends. If he is a good person and does well in school, I wouldn't mind it as much. If he smelled of pot, listens to rap music, and skips school, I'd probably beat the shit out of him then and their. Considering how most teenage girls are now, I'm guessing she would go out with the kid who smelt like pot.

My friend was 19, he did a 14 yer old. We gave him shit for that. but then he had the iq of a 12 year old so it balances out i guess...

Personally I would just say " oh, good, then your first time won't have to be with me" and just stand there watching their faces contort with horror and confusion.

The legal age around my parts is 18. That would make her 16 and him 19.

okay, I'd say i'd failed as a father if i had a 14/16 daughter whom has a boyfriend of 17/19
but for the sake of reducing my not -trollin', i'll play along;
it'd be very circumstantial based on his character, but i'd say one thing to him:
here's your wallet, and be VERY careful with her...
or else...
