What's So Bad About Transformers 2?

Okay, so after going and seeing the actual movie instead of just saying: "rah rah rah fuck transformers!" I've come to the conclusion that it was a pretty good movie!

Say what you like, but there was more transformers, more action scenes, more Megan Fox, more Megan Fox running, more Megan Fox running slow motion, and more Megan Fox whispering words that are so sexy it should be pornographic, and less Shia LaDouche.

So what was so bad about this movie that everyone had to hate on it? I mean, a couple of the stunts were kinda bad, like the one where Shia like, dies, but whatever, I thought it was a good movie, with a good plot, and less Shia and more Megan.

What was so bad? Someone, please tell me!

Ehh...The only thing I really, really didn't like was the rather glaring lack of actual transformers in the film. If you may notice, I think put together, the Autobots and decepticons had maybe forty lines throughout the whole thing. Everything else went to Shia, Megan, and that army guy who doesn't have a name.

Kind of underwhelming and crappy, truth be told.

It should also be noted that there was a whole host of other things, but most of them are like termites to a tree- fairly minor, but deadly in great quantities.

It was great to not bother watching a story for a second and watch some action and Megan Fox, but some people like there to be an actual premise to a movie.

My major gripe with the movie was the change subtheme. Many times they would force a character to do a 180 i.e. the little decepticon, the big decepticon, how his dad is the one crying at the end of the movie instead of the mom, and a bunch of other things that I can't remember right now.

I think it was just the plot, it wasn't good. However, this movie isn't about the plot. It's about Megan Fox and giant robots beating the binary out of each other, which was all awesome. I loved this movie and it is my favourite.

I thought it was a great movie! The only thing wrong with it was, the success of the first one caused Michael Bay to think he could do anything. Swearing, sexual themes, violence, and racy humor were all ramped way up from the first one. The first Transformers was playful, and used humor where it was appropriate, but Revenge of the Fallen was too bold.

I guess all of that stuff does make sense. I kind of laughed because I remember everything from that list.

Still though, I liked it. Sure, the plot was kinda stupid. I mean why / how does a genetically advanced robot planet need to make babies? How does that work? And why was there this long road around Egypt that lead them EVERYWHERE!

Those things made me angry, but everything else was cool. Oh well, I personally think that people were too critical, but it kinda deserved it after the shittiest first movie ever.

Interestingly enough, I thought the exact opposite. True enough, the first one was a flaming pile of arse and stupid, but it could at least entertain you if you were drunk and half-asleep. Besides, that scene with Ironhide's cannon at the end was F**KING SWEET.

Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure that film was about giant robots beating the s**t out of each other, as opposed to a caucasian army guy shooting giant robots to no effect.

No hostilities intended, mind you.

The plot was kinda crap, but I didn't watch it for plot anyway. I watched it because it had robots 3-8 stories tall beating the crap out of each other and blowing shit up.

I don't get the racism crap the movie's getting though. So the bot has a gold tooth, so what? My dad has a gold tooth and sometimes does some gangsta talk, that doesn't make him racist in any way.

more transformers? well yes but what are there names? who are they? what type of personalities do they have? i certainly have know idea besides those that are in the first movie. and the only characters that we do get are the twins *shudder*. although Jetfire(?) is awesome!

in theory it would be awesome to see how the human military fars against the alien transformers but this is undermined by the "retared" power levels of the transformers. what do i mean? remember the first scene of the first movie? 1 transformer completely obliterates a military base in under a minute. now fast forward to the second movie were almost 50!!! transformers are having a stand off in the desert. what the fuck? why? how? what should of happened is that kid should have past out and then woke in a crater. not in the same run down town. if 1 transformer can total a military base, 50 should end the fucking movie!

what should have happened was the fallen should have realised he was fucked and combined with megatron so super optimus and super fallen duke it out. but no

and personally the romance in the movie was badly executed, megan fox's character was wasted. she's also a **** in real life and i want her to die but thats just me.

over all the movie isn't shit but it definitely could have been MILES BETTER.
