- This photo-trend thing. Planking got popular and now people are making alternatives and trying to get popular from it. (Owling, Batmaning, Coneing, etc.)
- Chavs arguing over the internet (mainly on MMO's). SPELL CHECK, WHY YOU NO USE IT?
- Console wars.
- Justin Bieber haters (OMG FANBOY! no, hold your flaming arrows. Taking the piss out of Justin Bieber doesn't make you look funny, hard nor does it make your choice of music better, stop telling people what they should and shouldn't listen to. It's annoying seeing the top rated comments on youtube being something like "[insert number of dislikes here] people suck off Bieber")
- Facebook vs every other social networking site

I remember a long time ago, a couple of months before Super Smash Bros. Brawl came out, I saw a video with the final smashes on Youtube. In the comments there was someone repeatedly claiming that Smash Bros was gay and that Halo was better. Every time someone tried to calmly diffuse this statement, he would reply with the word Halo about ten times. Because, y'know, Halo and Smash Bros. TOTALLY on the same wavelength here.

"I wish they invented glasses which lets you see the world in 3D... That'd be totally awesome!"

At the time, I was sure I either facepalmed up to the point I nearly broke my nose, collapsed of laughter or closed my browser to contemplate on the sheer stupidity I had just witnessed. or all the above.
