What's the longest/biggest book you ever read from beginning to end?

was it a Mr. Men book or the entire Encyclopædia Britannica from A-Z?

or something else...?

If a book series doesn't count (and I'm guessing it doesn't) then it would be The Stand By Stephen King, around 1400 pages long. And I've read it four times. A very good book that one.

I would have to say really any of the canon Tom Clancy Novels....they average between 500-1500 pages each, depending on if they hard or soft back....

I have read the Bible, which is really long with small text....does that count?

The longest single book was a bout 766 pages long, but I once read about 3000 pages in a day, from 5 books

if you read the entire thing from cover to cover, yes.

Amazon has the king james version listed at 1392 pages

I read most of Evolution (1600pgs) by Stephen Baxter, but the biggest one I finished would be Speaker for the Dead (800pgs) by Orson Scott Card.

I'll add a second King: It. Around 1000 pages, so not quite as awesome.

The Journey to the West by Wu Cheng'en. 1800 pages, each of which was a delight.

Second longest was The Count of Monte Cristo; 1700 pages.

Either one of the Wheel of Time books or Atlus Shrugged, I'm not sure which would be longer but probably Atlus Shrugged.

I actually like It better than The Stand. They're both amazing books but It was probably more original.

The Dreaming Void. 647 pages with 23.4cm by 15.3cm pages.

I think I've read longer, but factoring page size, The Dreaming Void had the most words.

It has a clown that kills children; and that's why it's better.

It isn't a clown, it just enjoys appearing as a clown because children aren't frightened of clowns and it has a warped sense of humour. What It really is I still think is one of the most imaginative and amazing things I have ever read.
