it really depends on the type of zombies we are talking about, there are zombies created through magic and non magic means and then sub categories of how fast they are and then if they have the potential to turn into another type of undead or mutated creature but the standard fair of zombie can be handled with a light sword with a good reach such as a scimitar or a katana if they are magic you probably want the sword made out of silver and if they can mutate or become higher lvl undead you would need the Davy Crockett tactical nuclear recoilless rifle

Those fold up, so that could be nice. But having broken a couple I have to say they would just not hold up to abuse they would take when applied to zombie heads.
