Today I finally received the hat I bought in December from Desert Bus. After waiting for about two months without a hat I finally bought one and when I return home the hat was there. Not only that, but this day marks the snow storm of the century for my city as we're expecting 13 inches of snows. But at least James' hat will keep me warm.

Simply put: I like to think the hat brought the storm with it.

So, what's the biggest coincidence that's ever happened to you?

Also, needless to say I've never been happier to get mail.

I can just imagine you opening the box and a winter wonderland exploding from within, im pretty sure you need to send the hat back lest be cursed with Canada's winter for all eternity.

Not much really, i bump into famous people and laugh at De Niro's feeble attempts to conceal himself with dark shades in heathrow airport. My dad has run into more famous people, must be a family trait.

I often dye my hair before days of important events and people comment on how appropriate it is, but i'd have no clue such a day was on. St Patricks, Valintines, Depression day, things like that, yes i am just that clueless, i should buy a damn calander.

Needing cigarettes not being old enough to buy them and some clown that I disliked walking past just as I had let out the sigh of defeat and resigned myself to not getting any for the next few days and *plop* a full packet of 20 drop from his pocket onto the footpath...

Delighted doesnt even begin to describe it.

When I was 8 months pregnant, me and my boyfriend were visiting his mother who lived about 90 miles away from where we live. I went into early labour and had to go to the nearest hospital. The midwife who initially looked after me:

- was the same age as me
- studied midwifery at the same university where I had just finished a science degree
- her university graduation ceremony was going to be on the same day as mine
- when she was studying, lived just around the corner from where we lived at the time

It would have been nice if she had delivered my child, but she went off shift before the birth. She was very nice and even came to the maternity ward the next day to give me some breastfeeding tips.
