Easy, chronomancy. Chronomancy is the ability to bend time itself to the will of the caster, using it I could, in effect, do whatever the hell I wanted without consequence. Reality itself would become my plaything.

Ultimate mage, I'd try and learn every spell going. And I mean EVERYTHING...

Seriously. I would actually want every power. If that couldn't be done, then weather control and elements would be fine. I mean, have any of you read the Power of Five books? Scarlett's power in the third/fourth books. Sheer epic win.

In the D&D campaign I am currently playing in I have been coining the phrase 'Fireball Diplomacy' with my Magic-User, as it's quickly becoming my go to solution for any problem.

Is a necromancer someone who romances dead people?
Nope, that's a necrophile. A necromancer raises the dead, a necrophile does the dirty with them.

Ohhh :)
They should romance the dead before doing the dirty though. You know, tie them to a chair, cook them dinner, light some candles. Tell them how lovely they're eye sockets look in the reflection.

"Why don't you ever talk to me, Nancy?"

You have a sick, sick mind. I approve ;D.

That reminds me, some game had a film contest where one of the entries was a guy dancing with his dead wife. Basically it was really creepy music, with the guy dancing with a corpse that was propped up and moved by some device on her back that he could manipulate. I think it was for the game Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, but I can't find the damn thing anywhere, not even Youtube...

EDIT: Hah, I found it after a quick Wikipedia search:

Kinetic. Give me power over forces and motion: let me stop a speeding train with my hand and redirect the force of a bullet into the head of the person who fired it. Let me mess with Newton. That's the kind of magic I'd like.

Since I'm usually stealth-reliant, I guess I'd have to focus on illusion-style magic, but then, on some level, I'm drawn very strongly to being in touch with nature, so druidic magic or potion-making/alchemy would be (and often are, in games) a huge part of my repertoire.

Probably a healer. Anything else is nice and all, but healing magic benefits both myself and those around me. I could do some real good in the world simply with cure disease.

Plus I mean, most folks are going on about defeating their enemies... I mean... what enemies?
