Though I did see a cool implementation in Irreedemable, the Superman expy actually had the power to alter the momentum (so weight and acceleration) of objects, he could make thing heavier/slower or lighter/faster. It was explained that this was how he does acts that would make Newton cry, like catching falling objects. Heat vision was speeding up oxygen particles in front of him, ice breath was slowly them down. He made himself heavier and his enemies lighter when he punched them. I'm probably not explaining it well but it was neat to see some sort of thought put into a classical powerset.
