When is the last time you used your CD/DVD/whatever-ROM drive?

Right this bloody minute. I'm having to resurrect a discontinued product by burning it to 30 new farking disks (open license educational tool for the local council, not piracy).

Day before yesterday and the day before that. Once to watch an old favorite on DVD, once to install software I own that hasn't been portablized. Other than that, I think the last time I used it was to install the OS on the computer.

The only time I've used my CD rom on my new desktop was to install all the drivers and whatnot that came with my motherboard and wireless adapter. Other than that...never.

I use the DVD drive on this computer just last night to watch a DVD, then to play Tiberian Sun, which is still as good a game as I remember.

Yesterday. I dug out an old copy of Sonic 3D that was bought for our family computer an age ago, and I wanted to see if it worked on my laptop. It did! The game still sucks though. Also when I buy music I usually go for CD, then rip it to my hard drive.

My cd reader broke for around 1-2yrs ago and I havent used it since.
