As soon as I saw the title I yawned.

So yeah, I generally yawn whenever I see others yawn. If I remember House correctly (obviously the best source of medical knowledge =P), it's something called a mirror neuron reaction.

Yawns can allegedly spread even through writing.
Just mention yawning often enough in a text, and the readers will probably find themselves yawning at the end of it.

I do yawn quite a lot, especially when other are yawning. According to one of my friends I 'yawn like a lion' (not the noise, but I just open my mouth quite wide for an uber yawn), she said it's not bad, but now I'm really self conscious when I yawn.
