do you want to yawn too? Frequently I'll start yawning as I'm getting tired and then my whole family will start.

Are you immune to the spread of that jaw dropping breathing?

Have any yawning stories?

...

Yeah, I'm bored.

*yawns*

As soon as I saw the title I yawned.

So yeah, I generally yawn whenever I see others yawn. If I remember House correctly (obviously the best source of medical knowledge =P), it's something called a mirror neuron reaction.

Stick your finger in their mouth and say 'yawn rape!'

I yawned just before I read this thread and am doing so a lot now. I think most people find it contagious, same as 'lick your lips!'

Good job I didn't fart!

/RusselHowardJokes :)

OT: According to Cracked, it is unexplainable. Here:

Also on that page is a cheetah yawning. Even just thinking about that pic, I can feel myself yawning :p

Yawns can allegedly spread even through writing.
Just mention yawning often enough in a text, and the readers will probably find themselves yawning at the end of it.

I'm trying pretty hard not to yawn right now.

The word 'yawn' has been mentioned so many times on this thread, I have yawned three times and it's starting to look less like a word the more I read it.

OT: I usually yawn when I see others yawn, even my dog.

I looked back at my thread and yawned. Such is the power of the mind?

Yup, couldn't fight it, I yawned to. Don't know why it's so contagious but it's so gratifying to do it.

The only reason I'm yawning right now is because I've been working like crazy and have not been sleeping in the past few days. So reading through this thread isn't helping me at all right now, and the coffee isn't working.[footnote]FUN FACT TIME! Due to said tiredness I had to re-type certain words again because of my own tired stupidity and I yawned like 4 times already.[/footnote][footnote]*yawn*[/footnote]

I do yawn quite a lot, especially when other are yawning. According to one of my friends I 'yawn like a lion' (not the noise, but I just open my mouth quite wide for an uber yawn), she said it's not bad, but now I'm really self conscious when I yawn.

And damn you too for that matter.

OT: I'm way to gullible... or what this would fall under.
Don't think about breathing!
