I'll admit, I'm not much of a patriot. I don't have a lot of pride in my university, nor do I have a lot of spirit for my country. Beyond that, though, I tend to take pride in places I refer to as home.
The Escapist, for the brief time I've been here, has been my internet home, and I take a lot of pride in it. Probably misplaced, but it's my place of internet residence. There's some deep-rooted feeling of home I get from this forum. Maybe it's the people, maybe it's the friends, or maybe it's just that I've always liked the color blue. Completely regardless of all of the above, I tend to think of this place as my home.
As such, I'd like to encourage everyone to shoot 'em a vote in the People's Vote [http://pv.webbyawards.com/images/logo_pv.png?1240413727].
So, in lieu of making this a completely pointless thread...
There are places people become comfortable. Have you made the Escapist your internet home? Do you have another place that you call home? Are you normal enough not to assign places of familiarity to internet websites?
