It's disappointing that the trailers are misleading, it seemed like a promising comedy. I can understand having misleading trailers if it's a truly bad movie, but if it shows promise it just ends up marring the whole movie and might get less people to see it in the long run.

Ugh, this is really disappointing.

Actually, I'm looking forward to seeing a more dramatic role from Tina Fey, as I really like her. If the movie was marketed as that, and showed more serious scenes in the trailers, I would have actually been MORE likely to watch it. My wife was thinking about seeing this and we may still do so, but we would have been really unhappy if all the jokes where in the trailers, even if we did still enjoy the movie.

That is a really bad move. I think Tina fey is a good actress (And excellent writer), and deserves a more dramatic role. I just hate being misled about a movie and ESPECIALLY hate when a movie puts all it's best (or in this case only) jokes in the trailers. I go to the movies to watch a comedy because I want to laugh and have a good time. I see a drama for totally different reasons (And honestly usually wait for dvd on them, so I can pause if it's slow, or we can talk about stuff during it etc).

Comedy in the theator? Fun...you can laugh with the rest of the audience, it adds energy to the experience.

Drama? Not so much fun.

I watch action flicks first and most often (Especially if I see it in 3d), then comedy, and very very rarely drama. Telling me a movie is a comedy in the trailer and then showing me a drama......great way to make me hate even a decent movie.

Huh... I forgot that I really wanted to see Rock the Kasbah... Should probably see that first, I guess...

Other than that, no wonder the trailers felt odd to me... like it was hiding something... :p

I guess I'm just an asshole, but I can't stand Tina Fey...like, at all. I've never found her to be funny or even entertaining. Add to it a movie that's billed as a comedy but acts more like a drama and I've got one word for this movie:

Skip.
