That's the same problem I have. I can't think of any character from any TV show, movie, video game, or anime that I could pull off. Every time a friend suggests one, I think, "But I don't look like them enough. It wouldn't be any good."

Some easy to cosplay as, so I wouldn't make a fool of myself and insult the character. Because that is what most cosplay ends up being.

I am going to Fanexpo in Toronto as Jake Sully in his Na'vi form from Avatar.

Other than that, i have gone as Lockon Stratos from Gundam 00, Son Goku from SaiYuki, a few of my own characters and Aizen from Bleach

I'll leave the silly costumes to other people. Personally, when I go to an event of any sort I like to go in style, and since I already wear a suit on a somewhat regular basis I suppose I'd make a decent Turk (you know, the single coolest thing to ever emerge from the Final Fantasy franchise). All I'd need at the moment would be a zip-up blazer and some shiny new black boots.

Yeah, I can totally see that being me. Especially if I were to lose a bet resulting in me shaving my head.
