Deadly Class is an American comic book published by Image Comics and written by Rick Remainder, its stars Marcus Lopez and Nicaraguan teenager who is homeless and hunted by the police. After a scuffle with the police he is brought in by the Kings Dominion High School by Saya a daughter of a famous Yakuza mob boss. But this is no ordinary High School its a highschool for children of mob bosses, street OGS, CIA and FBI agents, and KGB enforcers. With his education of assassination Marcus will realize his dream of killing Mob boss if he can survive the school.
The reason why I think anime fans should read Deadly Class is because you take a concept that you tend to find in anime(school of assassins) and not only Americanize it but set it during the late 80s. When you compare this comic to something like Asterisk war or Assassination Classroom the differences is jarring, you have characters in Deadly Class have sex, do drugs, and party hard. Something you will never see in an anime with a similer concept as Deadly Class.
