Why are people such dicks about repeat threads?

Everyone makes mistakes sometimes. Maybe they didn't see the thread or their search phrase was something different, but covering the same topic. Just seems people are quite arrogant and degrading when they point out a recent repeated thread.

It really isn't much of a problem when someone posts a repeat thread.

That is, unless it's yet another thread that can actually be realistically boiled down to "I hate Mass Effect 3/BioWare/Electronic Arts and I think it/they are evil and I will start a boycott petition and..." Yeah, those kinds of repeat threads are the real problem.

hey you know what I think? I think Mass effect 3's ending REALLY sucked...seriously it was full of plot holes

It depends on the thread, if it is a repeat of an old one or a new one. How often the topic has come up, and most importantly, what the topic is. I understand why people get fed up of 'Skyrim hurr durr' threads. Most people don't get that annoyed when pointing it out anyway, just some. But that's the same everywhere, some people are nice, some are satan spawn
