The closest any game that I've played has come to killing kids is SSX, where you could punch little skiing kids that are in your way. Or those that aren't. ^^

Seriously, how come when any open[ish] world game or such like appears with annoying kids [im looking at you fable 2 and fallout 3] why cant you kill them?

im sure the developers dont want us to go out and kill kids in real life, but come on, it is make blieve after all, if we are allowed to blow some random persons head into a million bloody pieces, why cant we do it to kiddies too?

Because video games have such a good reputation at the moment, that while they would put it in there, they don't want jack thompson sending them any more love mail. Seriously, the naked pics are disturbing.

Supposedly because it would be so "morally wrong" and the players would feel incredibly bad after doing so. Not the case: In fallout 3, I wanted to strangle Princess in little lamplight... she's such a little *****. Also, I only felt bad about killing one person in Fallout 3, and that was Harold, the Mutant who was englufed by the tree, that just got to me for some reason.

How could that possibly make a game better? Realism? Blah, blah. Who the hell would really go around killing kids? In a game with that degree of "realism" you should also be able to be easily overpowered by the police, tazed, shot, and treated like the scum of the earth.

True, very true, I chased them around for an hour shooting my Assault Rifle at them, then my roommate told me to stop.

On Topic: The reason we aren't allowed to do it is because the controversy would be through the roof and no one in their right mind would want to go through that. Also think about the programmers with kids.

I've tried but since they keep saying "oh I'm hungry" and try eating the cattlerod I just like then do as they please as long as they work. so a few kids went "missing" it's a mine it cant be helped.
