I am also forever grateful for this. I have never before found a song in this genre that I liked until now. Thank you!
You are most certainly welcome. :3

That would be MtH's newest single that I heard for the first time this morning. It is amazing.
If you're interested in their other stuff, get their albums Rokkinpo Goroshi and Buiikiseau.

Every song on those albums is pure metal/pop fusion perfection ^_^
I'll Definitly have to check them out. Thank you again!

I love Japan because it was Nintendo that helped us get out of the video game depression and into the rich culture we have today.

For the games and culture mostly. Its so different its fascinating.

Also because we will eventually face the same if not possibly worse disaster, most Turks now have deep respect and condolences for Japan.

They occasionally produce a game title that I like, and I'm a fan of teriyaki.
Apart from that, I don't really care about Japan (I don't hate them, I'm just indifferent).

EDIT: Oh, and a number of their older myths and stories are pretty cool too.

Eeerm...

Ehmm...

This is hard...

...

Oh yes! They have quite good chicken with rice with this tasty sweet-sour sauce... Or was it Thailand...

...

Oh right! That one and only good comic book that came out of japan. "Usagi Yojimbo"

Well it's technicly from japan... Well it's made by a japaneese man... Japaneese looking man that lives in America.

But the comic book is awesome.

I have no clear-cut answer except...I'm just curious about it as a whole.

Even as a kid I was very taken with how it all looked - the architecture, the swords, kimonos, ninjas, all that. Then through high school I got into anime and I liked that pretty well (still do, just not as fervently) and then came the music...(Shiina Ringo <3) and as I matured as a gamer, I began spotting what I loved about Japanese tropes and stylings. I love their quirky premises, I love the innocent nature of their romances, I love their personality cliche's for their anime girls, I loved the design of their sci-fi and fantasy. And on the flipside, I loved seeing their take on darker things, as seen in Atlus and Grasshopper Manufacture games, and in manga such as Welcome to the NHK!

I dunno, I love the sound and look of the language, I love the look of the cramped architecture in places like Tokyo and the traditional style seen in Kyoto or in smaller towns, I'm interested in its myths and legends, its history, its nature, its mannerisms, its mahjong...(lol thanks Yakuza.)

It's a place of mystery to me, one that at times seems to take a lot of things from the West while putting an indelibly Japanese spin on them. And I'm just dreadfully intrigued by it.

To be honest, I don't. They have certainly produced things that I've enjoyed (largely video games. My youth, like anyone else my age who played video games during their formative years, was spent playing Japanese titles), but I the overwhelming majority of things I see from that nation run the gamut from incomprehensible to unsettling.

The spicy tuna roll. Cowboy Bebop. Nintendo. Dragon Quest. Weird-ass game shows. Also, the women.

I heart Japan, mostly because of anime and manga. There's not alot of these for adults, besides the ones that comes from japan.

Konami. Specifically MGS3 and ZoE2
I also absolutely adore sushi
...ooh! And Dragon Ball Z! Holy tits, I love Dragon Ball Z. I'm not a huge anime fan (I like Ghost In The Shell, Akira and Naruto is okay) but Dragon Ball Z was my favourite cartoon, like, ever! I heart it immensely. Thank you, Japan

Well, they introduced to me Dragonball Z, Armored Core, and my favorite Final Fantasy games. Stuff that helped form my childhood.

I should check out Japan before I die, but first I'd like to be at least semi-fluent in Japanese before I do.
