Because I enjoy pointing and laughing at the crowd of fawn that desperately wants inside his pants.

Mainly for entertainment purposes, but also to see how a true self-declared cynic thinks about next-gen games.
I know that if the game in question gets a good review from Yahtzee, it is something unique in a sea of games that are beginning to seem same-y...

I really like it when he points out flaws in games that I like. most of what he brings up are just nitpick things

He doesn't care what other people think.
He has a great sense of Humour.
And he is about the ownly reviewer who is right.
Plus he has funny drawings.

I'll tell you why I don't like ZP

It got old.. The gimmic wore off.

It got to the point where I was saying "What will Yahtzee hate next" then when he did like a game, there was an uproar. As if people dont watch it for the reviews but only to see a guy who swear AND uses big words rip on games...

Oh wait..

So this isnt that big a deal.. Unless you bill yourself as a reviewer.

Also his fans piss me off.. A lot..

A combination of what these two think.

I've become largely indifferent to the "reviews" themselves. If I bothered to still watch them I assume I wouldn't think very highly of them. I'm not sure if it's just my taste changing, or if the videos themselves have changed, but I stopped finding them funny a few months ago.

On the other hand, the aforementioned "desperately wants inside his pants" crowd annoys me to no end.

because Yahtzee has a way of putting together words and ideas which nobody else has.
and he makes it funny and enjoyable enough to watch even your favorite games metaphorically being raped by a sandpaper dick covered in broken glass

I watch it because it's funny. Also, it has made me look at video games as more of a form of art rather then entertainment.

Because he's hilarious and most of the time, he gives good advice in his reviews

Well, at least that's why I watch it

I find those animations frustratingly cute and like the jokes he works in. And I feel like someone, well, mostly shares my view on games- I liked Bioshock a lot more than he did, but because I loved the sheer insanity of the characters more than anything else, and...okay, I don't like Halo. At all.

Besides, HE ACTUALLY HEARD OF PSYCHONAUTS.

He knows what he is talking about except when he talks about mutiplayer shooters which he hates because no one seems to want to play with him.

Entertainment, he's pretty likely to speak his mind, which is a rarity these days, and the humour is something i appreciate.

Because Yahzee's accent makes me hot and bothered.

Oh you wanted for seriously?
'cause I find i agree to with what he says and i have the same why of thinking so, if I listen to what he says about a game before I buy it i can save my money for something that is not utter crap.

True sometimes I stupidly don't listen and buy a game anyway thinking " Oh I should just think for myself and make this choice on my own." But THIS IS BAD FOR ME TO DO. Mostly because I find he's right. -_-

ITs great to see a reviewer that doesn't kiss Microsoft's, Sony's, and/or Nintendo's ass.
and in retrospect, he's right when it comes to "games are art" and "self-important-bearded tossers".

YES! That was the review that got me hooked. It was like punched lucasarts where the sun don't shine. It Brutal honesty that we need in society.

A man told me a long tim ago, "its not being rude if you're being honest." I feel i live by that eveyday.

Because it's the only time on Wednesday that I actually laugh out loud at the office. I'll probably never play the games he's reviewing and I don't weigh his review in my decision making process when purchasing a game. It's just good entertainment.

I was initially drawn in by Yahtzee's rapid-fire speech patterns, spewing out insults, profanities, and comparisons with relative ease. I soon began to adopt his beliefs about what makes a good video game but recently quit that because I've realized that you're much cooler if you create your own system of beliefs instead of latching onto someone else's. So for now, I'll look forward to a healthy dose of lightning-fast talk, sharp wit, and colorful insults each Wednesday.
