I did, but what more do you want? Why do people play any game? Because they enjoy it, generally because it's good.ICanBreakTheseCuffs said:if you looked at the description I said not to say stuff like that

thank youAC10 said:As someone who has played more MMOs than any human ever should, including WoW, it really does nothing a whole lot better or different that hasn't been done in previous games. I've always wondered why it was so popular.
That is simply not true, the features in WoW are far superior to any MMORPG i've played, everything works well. The PvP system is better than any previous MMO, along with the raiding system. They are the core concepts of the game and they easily out-do any MMO i've seen.AC10 said:As someone who has played more MMOs than any human ever should, including WoW, it really does nothing a whole lot better or different that hasn't been done in previous games. How is raiding any more improved over EQ2? The PvP in bloody Ragnarok Online with WoE was more fun than the snorefest of WoW's PVP. What about guild wars? Technically an MMO, but it's PvP was way better IMO.WaNNaBJusTLiKeU said:That is simply not true, the features in WoW are far superior to any MMORPG i've played, everything works well. Toontown rocks. Sort of breaks down in edngame, though.meepop said:Do me a favor--Play Toontown (USED TO PLAY IT!) or City of Heroes--They're MMO's and they aren't anything like WoW. Sure they have grind but you can't have an MMO without it. It's like fish to water or humans to air. Here's something different from WoW that most MMO's don't have that makes WoW stand out: constant new content, listening to the people who play to try and fix the game, quests that are mainly "Kill things" with the side-tracking of "Go talk to Man A" leading to a quest chain. The next part of the quest chain may be anything from testing a teleporter, flying a plane, dogfighting against Frost Wyrms. It does what it does differently, and while other MMO's may have alot of fans, please note that WoW did it first.
look closely at my quote on woodsley, it said there were exceptions, okay?meepop said:Do me a favor--Play Toontown (USED TO PLAY IT!) or City of Heroes--They're MMO's and they aren't anything like WoW. I wonder if there's ever been a biker game by the name of 'The Vicious Cycles'.DarkRyter said:It's a vicious cycle. THough to be honest, it's kind of a mild cycle.
The only game that is anywhere within comparison of WoW's PvP system was Ultima Online. Nothing else comes close, epseically with the additions to the system in the last patches. Obviously we differ on opinions so i'll leave it at that, saves a pointless debate.AC10 said:How is raiding any more improved over EQ2?
