Why is everone saying that Elizabeth Greene is hard?

Well, I got Prototype yesterday, and have just finished the Elizabeth Greene fight. Now, from all the posts I've seen here, I expected myself to have a stream of retries and angry words. But that wasn't the case. The only time I died was when I charged at her in my first go.
So why does everyone say she's really hard?

(I'm on normal mode, if that helps.)

1) People tend to pick a few favorite attacks and stick with them, without exploring the whole roster. The graveyard groundspike devastator, which can fell all of Elizabeth's tentacles at once in one shot on hard, was not on many people's "frequently use" list. The complaints, you'll recall, weren't of dying, but rather of the fight taking too long.

2) You're about two months late to the party. No one thinks she's hard anymore.

she was pretty easy to kill, it was just very repetitive. and no, she's not the last boss. the last boss is more fun, albeit harder.

No. She's about 2/3rds in.

And yeah, I found her not so much hard as freaking annoying. Eventually I just used constant helecopters to pummel her.

Helicopters were useless for me. I just ran up a building and hammer elbow dropped her lots, then did the graveyard devastator. That worked.

well i just used the blade drop but she wasent hard the damm hunters are the ones that suck

Because it's a perfect example of all the annoying things in the game thrown together; auto-aiming projectiles, hunters locking you in unbreakable combos, shoddy targeting, etc. In short: a clusterfuck. Also, it took way too long.

Personally every boss was too easy, the hunters at the start was the hardest because you were so underpowered

Not hard, just tedious. On hard mode it gets really annoying because it takes AAAAGES and getting hit by that rock thing once will reduce you to grey-vision.

The last boss is bloody annoying tho.
