Seriously though, whhhhyyyyyy doooooooo weeeeeee moooooooovvvvveee soooooooo slooooooowwwllllly eveeeen innnnn spriiinnnnt?

(Translation: Why do we move so slowly, even in Sprint/Power mode?)

I mean, really, I have the sensitivity cranked, and I still feel like I'm moving through tar-based molasses while playing. Can't move fast, can't turn fast, can't even ADS fast. the only thing you do with any urgency is climb things. This is not good for a game were do you almost as quickly as CoD unless you turn Armor on.

And for those of you who haven't played, you'd probably like a comparison, so here you go:

A lot of people like to say that Halo 3/Halo: Reach feel too "slow". Well, when compared to Crysis 2, in a 1 mile race, Halo: Reach could leave, have tea with the Queen in England, go to China to get some real China food, make a stop down under to box with a kangaroo, come back and cross the finish line before Crysis 2 made it 3/4s of the way.

And then probably lap Crysis 2 a couple of times for good measure.

I seem to remember Crysis 1 not being a speed demon (this referring to the character and the game both) either - maybe it's meant to foster more deliberate play?

The original Crysis moved faster than Crysis 2 does. And even if Crysis 1 felt a little slow, there was still the Speed Mode on the Nano Suit, which made everything move at a nice clip, and allowed for seriously ass hauling if needed.

In Crysis 2, even full-on sprinting doesn't move than fast.
