So I was just on Shopto and they've got the Wii U on pre-order. Now I bet you're thinking 'no big deal', right? Loads of retailers are doing that. Well there was something that interested me; they've listed a price. They've listed it at £280 [http://www.shopto.net/WII%20U/VIDEO%20GAMES/WIIUHW02-Nintendo%20Wii%20U%20Console%20Black.html], which is about $430 or ?350.
What do you think of this? Do you think it's probably accurate and if it is what do you think of the price? Do you think it's a good price or do you think it's too high? Maybe even not high enough?
Personally I don't think it's that good of an idea to release a console that's nearly £300 when the PS3 and 360 can be bought for less than £200, how cheap you can build a decent gaming rig now [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.378035-The-cheapest-sub-300-gaming-PC-I-can-put-together-For-those-on-a-budget-come-take-a-look] (with more people than ever turning to PC gaming) and with the next gen on the horizon.
