Worst Gaming-related Decision you've ever made?

My mom made me throw out 4 consoles with my entire libary of games. My first console the ps1 when moving to America. My 2 PS2s and my original xbox when moving back to germany. Most of all I miss my PS2 libary of games. I bought my 3rd PS2 a couple months ago and I'm trying to rebuild my collection.

I was about to say "buying Oblivion". Then I realized I got a week of decent fun out of that before it got terrible for me. Then I was about to say "getting Fallout 3", but the same applies, although in this case it's closer to a day or two, maximum.

So I'll say acquiring Spore. That game was fun for half an hour at most, before I realized I had been completely ripped off.
