I believe my worst mistake was hitting the 'random page' button on ED.

There are things you cannot unsee, cannot mind-bleach that leave a stain on your soul that everyone can see and the only thing they can say is "You saw it, didn't you." In that moment you know that the cruel light of that personal hell you visited is shared, vast and wide as the largest canyon and dark as the deepest trench, this is the internet, and we know your pain.

Does playing an MMO count? Because I get totally blasted when I try playing MMO's way after release because people expect better.

Plus, out of sheer interest.

Well one time I sucessfully trolled a moderator on an obscure website by repeatedly posting empty threats to have their site destroyed until they said sorry by using a different computer every time they banned me until I got them to think that I was hacking and they took me seriously and apologized and unbanned all of the IPs I used...... oh wait that wasn't a mistake, it was hilarious.

and for the record I only did it because they called me a troll for saying something they disagreed with.... and then banned me.

in all seriousness though the worst I can think of was visiting lemon party which in retrospect wasn't that bad compared to the other stuff that you can apparently find on the internet.

I would saying signing up to facebook. After a few weeks, I deleted the account, but I still feel stupid. Everything else, the porn, ED, the shock sites...I'm fine with all that. It's just fucking facebook that pisses me off.

I enjoyed that very much, thank you. For that offering I will tell of another time when my judgement was 'lax' as it were.

I used to open any link my friends/internet associates sent me, this turned to my horror and about 13 screamers before I figured out to ask first and needle them about it before it was too late. This was back when internet screamers first became popular.

Captcha: "being wasnegu" no idea what a wasnegu is, but I am certainly not.

I overstated my opinion of organised religion once, in a very dickish Dawkinsian way. On a forum I very much enjoyed. It was okay I apologised by making a post pretending to be Martin Luther in a flame war with the Catholic Church over indulgences.

Minecraft. So much time wasted playing Minecraft. Everynight, I still see the creepers waiting at my window while I sleep.

Posting in this thread. BOOOM.

Jokes aside, watching 3 guys, 1 hammer. Couldn't watch all of it, I could watch a girl throwing puppies into a river, I could watch some kids set a puppy on fire, I could watch a soldier throw a puppy off a cliff. Sure I would be pissed at it, but I could still watch them. But, I could not watch a poor man be brutally murdered by deranged psychopaths. I felt so sorry for the guy.

If someone doesn't know what I'm talking about, read this [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dnepropetrovsk_maniacs].
I had heard about this video, but never watched it until now, so this is now my worst mistake on the internet as well. Like you I have seen many, MANY despicable things on the internet, but I literally couldn't watch that video for more than like 15 seconds.
Reading about the unfortunate guy made it worse.
Yatzenko was 48 years old. He had recently been forced into retirement due to a cancerous tumor in his throat. The treatment left him unable to speak for some time, but Yatzenko was unhappy with being unable to work and continued to find odd jobs around the village. He took on small construction projects, fixed cars, wove baskets, and cooked for his family. He was beginning to regain his voice by the time of the murder. Yatzenko was married and had two sons and one grandchild. He also had a disabled mother whom he looked after.
These sick fucks also killed 20 other people(possibly in similar fashions). I only wish that the 2 murderers could spend the rest of their days in solitary confinement, not having any contact with any fucking organism. One of the worst punishments a person can receive(death is too good for them).
