WTF moments in gaming

So today I was replaying Borderlands after letting it sit for a few months and noticed something pretty ridiculous. When you kill any enemy they tend to groan as they fall to the ground. Totally legit. However, if you headshot them and their head explodes they still tend to groan. How the hell does something without a head groan?

What things in games have you noticed that makes absolutely no sense?

Okay, I accept that this alien flesh is growing off of EVERYTHING, but how does it grab people and morph right through them so they're limp corpses like that? - Extermination

Speaking of weird aliens, why do the Morphs (as seen in Flashback) look different from how they use to in Fade To Black?

Seriously, you walk around and BAM some...thing bursts out of an airvent and starts rushing towards you going "BLARRBBIIGGJIBBIJABJAB!!!" so you shoot its legs off, it starts dragging itself towards you, you shoot its head off, it gets more pissed off and comes quicker, so you empty the rest of the Plasma Cutter mag into its face and all the while your just screaming "WTF WTF WTF!"

Now, what if the Necromorphs were replaced by entirely human enemies?
If something has one arm intact and is dragging themself towards you trying to tear you apart with their one remaining bare hand while screaming its head off, but it was human, then that would probably more damn freaky than the slimey space zombie people...

...so yeah Dead Space is downright insane.

OP: Assassin's Creed, the leap of faith...I mean sure from a height of ten feet maybe you don't break your neck, but most of those buildings were a good fifty seventy feet up, you'd totally die jumping into a cart of hay...I still loved that freaking game though.

Vindictus, when I found out they only had US/Canada support.

Actual gameplay-wise, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, the first time I kicked someone and watched their muscles, bone, flesh and skin turn into body-replica jelly. I couldn't help but think "Okay... if they've lost all muscle control, how chunky are their pants right now?"

Well now, buddy. Since MW2 is one of those "realism" games, not every shot to the head will kill someone, as a lot of attempted suicide patients found out. Your body is quite resilient, and if you're lucky enough, a headshot will more likely shatter teeth, or break your cheeks, etc etc etc. Like... anyone remember the final scenes of Fight Club? just like that.

Hey, I never said the realism was perfect. I don't even play MW2. But surely, getting shot in the head and not dying is a lot less imperfect than, as you said, getting shot in the foot and seeing blood spatter onto the screen.

Was playing killing floor earlier today when a specimen hit me and i got stuck in a hole. I was low on ammo as well so i ended up crouching in the hole with just a knife, with about 20 things standing over me.
Funny thing was, they couldn't hit me, but I could hit them. Lasted about two waves until a siren got me

This one time I was playing Porsche Challenge on PS1, I was bored so I spammed the controller just randomly on the menu, then I heard this horrible half woman half crow kind of scream thing come from the tele, I shat my pants. It was so f*cking wierd. I cant find anyone else who has done this on the interwebz either.

Oh and Trying to defeat the last boss on that new-ish game Shank. WTF.
