The Medium's PS5 port has been rated by the ESRB

The ESRB has rated a PS5 port of Bloober Team's psychological horror titled The Medium, following on from the game's previous Xbox/PC release.

That walking sim game that has been the only exclusive new title for the Xbox Series X, and wasn't very interesting, is now getting a Ps5 release apparently. It has been rated by the ESRP as a PS5 title which is new, and suggests a PS5 release is soon.

Makes me wonder if it was just a very short exclusivity deal, or if Microsoft is hoping to generate a few extra sales off the title by releasing it on another console. With Sony putting some of it's exclusives on PC I suppose this is just par for the course. However it speaks volumes to The Medium's success to see the cross-over happening so soon after launch. Though it is possible that they just had the game rated and it still will sit in limbo for 6 months before actually coming out.

I always thought it was a timed exclusive. Sony can have the game if they want, I still have no interest in it. Spiritual successor to Silent Hill my ass. But if people enjoyed it, I'm not going to stop them.

From what I've seen there is a bit of a fanbase around the game. Though I dunno if they like the game as much as they like the studio behind it. whatever.

Technically it doesn't because Microsoft is also putting everything on PC. But in terms of strictly consoles, they are exclusive.
