I agree with this dude, solely for the fact that all Xbox-360 owners that I know are obnoxious and/o annoying. Really, it's that bad.
I'm not saying all xbox users are bad, just the ones I know.

I'd imagine both are about the same in regards to maturity levels, the only difference is there are more morons on XBL because XBL is generally considered better than the PSN from what I've read. That, and there are more 360s than PS3s. That said, outside of co-op modes of games, like Spec Ops for MW2, or co-op games like Borderlands or Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 is where voice chat is much more useful. In team deathmatch, it just idiots trying to sing or rap.

Its not the gaming systems that defines a person, Its the arrogance and ignorance that the player has and not afraid to show it. In fact, earlier I was playing MW2 on the PS3 and some frat boy was freaking out because we were losing by four kills which led him to insult the entire team. I have had that happen on both multiplayers and equally I have met some really nice people as well.

how the times have changed I remember when people would not touch the ps3 hahaha

I feel kinda gutted and pissed because I buyed the 360 within weeks of the new ps3 coming out. True ps3 is more expensive but the online is free... I really can't explain the reason why xbox gamers are more immature but it's probably true x.x

even though i am an xbox owner, i would have to agree with the fact that the PS3 seems to attract more mature players than xbox. I cant even count the nuber of whiny little kids on xbox, but can count the number on PS3 on one hand (that may be due to the fact that nobody plays PS3, but i doubt it).

Hang on, is this the ONLY reason it isn't coming out on xbox? Well what about the 5% of people who aren't 10 year old fanboys hmm? lets see them respond to that.

*edit* There are acually about the same 10 years old brats on PS3, they just don't have mics.

I will admit that 360 gamers are juvenile. I myself am a 360 fanboy but i must say that sonys community is welcoming unlike "hahah pwned u"

I love teamwork. I love Xbox. Unfortunately every 12 year old has a mic.
And, being in Uni halls, four feet from a PS3 playing friend, nobody has mics. The few that do are either racist New Yorkers or the whinging imbeciles I escape from XBL to avoid.

More mature? I don't think so. More reclusive, yes.

Yeah, so PSN doesn't have any children of dumb ass parents playing M games online at age 9 does it? I'm sure it has a handful of them. This is just like people who think all Americans are dumb just because stupid people make it into the media (or in the case of XBL onto the internet) doesn't mean the entire community is stupid I hate generalizing!

Don't worry - there are plenty of assholes on PSN as well. I encountered some yesterday while playing online.

They just have deeper voices. ;)

But, for the most part, I found Sony's community to be civil when the time arose. Generally, they won't bite, if you don't bite first.

I think he could be right, but since the option to create a party appeared on XBOX Live, I tend to create a party of one (Me!) and listen to the blissful silence said party brings. On the few occasions I've forgot to do this for all of a second, the blood spurting from my ears as whiney kids with voices that could shatter glass and summon dogs go on and on and on about someone elses mom tends to remind me to quickly form a party. I'm fairly certain however the more mature PS3 crowd is down to the fact 99% of them can't afford a mic after buying a PS3 and therefore can't speak. The remaining 1% are either mute or have yet to figure out how to plug the bloody thing in.

Considering a girl was "sexually assaulted" on PS3...
Hehe

Both are bad. People shouldn't compare the two, I for one have been shit talked on both.
I have 80+ friends on XBL, all of which are nice and respectful.

Wow, I didn't expect the developer of a PS3 exclusive to come out and say something like that!
Also ^^This pretty much sums it up.
