So this is something that I didn't realize was a thing until a couple of articles pointed it out (and even then, it sounded bullshit until I actually did it myself). Their Xbox Game Pass (Microsoft's Netflix-type setup for video games) is stupid cheap right now.
Basically right now, if you get Microsoft Ultimate (Their Game Pass and Xbox Live combo kit), you get it for $1. BUT...what makes this a stupid good deal that made me think it was completely fake was that this $1 covers your entire Xbox Live account. To put it in easy terms...
If you have one month of Live left, you would get Game Pass for a month for a buck
If you have a year of Live left, you would get Game Pass for a year for a buck
If you have three years left (the max you can get prepaid), you would get Game Pass for three years for a buck
I personally purchased extra time so I now have this Game Pass thing for two years and seven months (I tried to do the full three years but found out about the three year max limit the hard way) and now have Game Pass for a long time for only $1. While not every game ends up on there obviously, there are plenty of games on there that I seriously may not need to buy a new game again until my two years and seven month time limit runs out...
The deal ends in 5 days so if you got yourself a Xbox, I would give this a hard look. The only real downfall that I've been able to find (seriously, if you find an issue that I have missed, I'd love to hear about it cause I'm still wondering where the big catch is) is that it then goes on autopay afterwards (which you can cancel when the time comes) but for me, if I forget to cancel and get a $15 hit, it'll still be well worth the price of admission).
