If anything, that might be an even bigger dick move. It was provided in case people were having serious problems, and now they've deprived those people of the ability to use it just because some people misinterpreted its purpose. "Your Xbox broke? Oh well, too bad, there used to be a fix for it, but we've taken it down because people can't have nice things."
