Xbox One Offline Update Instructions Pulled by Microsoft

While this was concerning prior to release, its weird people are posting the predictions of doom and gloom days later. I mean the launch happened. And I have not seen any reports about the network failing. So it went fine, I guess?

If anything, that might be an even bigger dick move. It was provided in case people were having serious problems, and now they've deprived those people of the ability to use it just because some people misinterpreted its purpose. "Your Xbox broke? Oh well, too bad, there used to be a fix for it, but we've taken it down because people can't have nice things."
They're not deprived of the ability to fix it, they just have to go through Microsoft support to fix it presumably to ensure the correct fix is applied to the problem at hand.
