Yahoo! News Says New Wolfenstein Title In The Works
An article on Yahoo! News has revealed that id Software's [http://www.ravensoft.com/] Wolfenstein franchise.
Entitled "Local Company Takes Video Games To Next Level," [http://news.yahoo.com/s/wisc/20070511/lo_wisc/13305259] the primary focus of the article is the motion-capture technology used to create characters within the game, and the experiences of the actress who takes part in the process.
"They had me kind of bust through doors with big guns and pretend I was an assassin-being that didn't have a spine and club a body of something on the ground and sniff it," said Carrie Coon, an actress who became involved with Raven through the University of Wisconsin Theater program. "It was one of the most bizarre audition experiences I've ever had in my life."
Of greater significance to gamers, however, is the statement, "The company is currently working on a new game based on the Wolfenstein series." While no other details are revealed in the article, it does go on to state that the game is not expected to be released "until sometime in 2008."
