Yahtzee as possibly the gutsiest and funniest games and game related reviewer I have heard in a long time ( ever since Kieron Gillen lost his edge anyway ;) Only JK ) I have found I do wonder about what you would say about other games...

I know it will probably never happen but I do wonder what you would say about TrackMania United/TracMania Nations especially considering the two are soon to get a major update to prepare them both for being one of the competition games in the ESWC 2008.

Sorry, Captain, not likely. Stolen direct from his website, like.

"Let me clarify something to a certain kind of person who sends certain kinds of mail. The games I review are usually chosen for me by my editor or worked out between him and me beforehand because I want to cover them. The schedule can often be worked out some weeks in advance. My point is, if you suggest or even demand that I review a certain game, the odds are heavily against me complying. Even if you suggest a game that I later review it was probably just a coincidence. So stop your nagging, you cunts."

Well, at the very least we can recommend it to the editor.

Bottom line is, we know that seeing the game we ask for is unlikely. But that's not to say it's going to be impossible.

Can't honestly say I'd be opposed to making a request or two, here and there, randomly - of the Escapist editors, whenever they do a segment on independent games again. Obviously that might not happen for a while, but if they just so happen to, a possible target might be the ever-lauded Cave Story.

That is, of course, utterly dependent on whether or not Yahtzee *wants* to play it, as well as whether the editors would even consider covering it. I'm hardly one to demand!

Seems that most of yahztee's reviews address popular games, or at least well known games, so that he can bash the crap out of them (or in the case of games he likes, nitpick). This seems to be partly because controversy is awesome, but also because its just funnier that way. :)
