I'm sure that the Escapist community is getting tired of "Zombie Apocalypse" threads, but I couldn't find any with this exact question.

I was watching Shaun of the Dead last night, and I had the thought that Shaun's mom was not a very good asset to their party. She was out of touch, uneducated about zombies, and had no fighting skills. I thought to myself, "Self, don't you think that your friend AJ would be a better person to take along?" And I replied, "Why yes, self. He certainly would."

So, going with the 4-person theme established by Left 4 Dead, you can choose three other people to accompany you on your undead escapades. Who will it be? Note: only people who live near you are valid. Unless you're in the same county in Oklahoma, Chuck Norris is not a valid option.

My friend Tom.
He has a turret mounted on the back of his armor plated pick up truck, and he also has multiple automatic weapons in his gun safe.
And I have a cane sword.
We don't need 4 people.
And I wouldn't want Chuck Norris. He isn't good enough for my team.

Chuck Norris lives in Texas. I should know, as I've seen him in person before. He lives up the highway about a little more than 20 miles from where I live.

Anyway... I know that I'd definitely be bringing my friend 'Cheesecake'... He's one of those people who has plans for an emergency situation. Also, my step-dad for he has guns... I can't think of a third person to bring with me though... So I dunno.

For real? I always thought he lived in Oklahoma for some reason...

Uhhh... My Dad, he's an NRA marksman, so he has the skills to survive.....

Uhhhh...... My Guinea Pig? He could bite the zombies?

Uhhhhhh......... Myself, obviusly.

And finally..... My freind Max I guess. He's the only person other than me that has played Left 4 dead, so I guess he'll have to do.

It wasn't called Walker: Texas Ranger for nothing... He's actually a bit shorter in person than you would think, though.

Hmm, good question. If I'd were to be rational I'd have to leave my family (first and foremost I'd try to get them saved, but that aside) and grab my oldest brother from his appartment. He'd be good company and while he freaks out easily he's in a good physical condition and I think I could definitely learn him to handle zombies.

As for the other two persons... I have absolutely no clue. My best bet would be to try and pick up anyone strong/physically capable whereever I'd find them. One of the other persons I'd be interested in taking lives 2 hours training away and is thus unreachable during an apocalypse. The other one lives in Oklahoma Texas.

1. My dad; he's cool and would know what to do, like how to burn things.

2. My best friend; he could be trusted to maintain optimism and alternative planning.

3. My sister; she's tough and could probably beat the undead out of any zombie with her bare hands.

4. My mom's boyfriend; he has superior tech skills, power tools, and a bright, level-headed attitude.

I'm old, so I would take my two grandsons. They are 17 and 18 and play left 4 dead with me alot. But I don't have a fourth. My wife would be worthless. Could I take my 4 dogs? If they bite a zombie, would they become infected? Need to do some research.

Strangely enough I already have a plan for this situation. My friend and I invented the plan after playing the first 3 L4D campaigns and watching Shaun of the Dead.
Me-The smart one
Him-The strong and fast one
Friend 1-The incredibly,freakishly strong one
Friend 2-The other smart one(You can never have too many smart ones!)
When the zombie holocaust comes(and it will come!) we are regrouping and heading to the local Territorial Army base!
