So.... What's your favorite music genre? for me it's Oi! punk I dunno why, I yust like it I don't even know how to describe it exept whith pure awesomess. boosh! (srry for short thread but I dunno what more to say.)

That's the best way to describe it, I probably like several of it's sub-genres which I can't name.

Having said that, there are plenty of other musical genres I like, its just that I like metal the most.

Yeah, I like that too a lot but Oi! is still my favorite genre.

I would classify my favorite music genre as rock, but I listen to different sub-genres of it and it is just easier to say I listen to rock.

Rock, because I see rock as an umbrella term for sub-genres such as punk, metal, glam and classic. I know people don't see punk and metal as sub-genres but I still class them as coming under the 'rock' category.
