Delete everything before youtube, and everything between youtube and =, and put it all in brackets [].

I don't quite understand. Are you able to show it in steps? Apologies, in advance.

1. Go to youtube video page and copy the url bar, in my case it is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALYkqq6hZiQ

2. Remove everything from the url before the word "youtube", so I would delete https://www. (including the . )

3. Delete everything between the word "youtube" and the = symbol. In this case .com/watch?v

4. That leaves you with youtube=ALYkqq6hZiQ and now I just add brackets, aka the rectangular parenthesis, [ ] around it, and I get

Got it! And now the thread is spammed with Monty Python! But who cares, thank you!

The ending song to Watamote is one of the greats, the entire song is just Tomoko getting closer and closer to a mental breakdown. The throwing up sound in the first verse gets me every time and the way they contrast her awful karaoke against someone who can actually sing is fantastic.

They should have the main character do the ending song more I think. Youjo Senki did it this season and Los! Los! Los! is amazing because of it.

The wordplay in it is simply astounding. If I was an English teacher, I'd definitely use this in class to teach about English proverbs, turning phrases, and the meaning of both pronounciation and context in the meaning of words. I'd list my favorite phrases form it, but it'd basically amount to the whole song. When I got the double meaning in "Fucked a girl in an apple orchard/then came inside her" I literally slapped my forehead for not realizing it before. It's not "funny" in the same way Weird Al is for example, but overall I'd nominate it before any others.

Bo Burnham has a treasure trove of brilliant comedy songs like "Sad", "Pandering" and "I'm Bo Yo", but "Words words words" takes the cake just because of the sheer volume of brilliant wordplay.

I was always partial to
The great Sideways Hank O'Malley and the Alabama Bottle Boys. I reckon I'll play it again.

This stuff is probably only relevant to certain subsection of Brits, but worth it if no-one else is going to post them instead. Though personally don't find them funny after maybe the second hearing, but that's just a personal problem with diminished returns on humour in music and humour in general. But still appreciated as something worth sharing for others not so miserable as me.

First, sir Bailey...

This is mine:

Kind of NSFW, but not really, since no profanity is actually used. But kind of blue.

"YOLO" by Lonely Island.

I love how it takes a reviled word and completely turns it on its head.

Pretty much anything by Stephen Lynch. Here are some of my favorites. Note that many are not safe for work due to language or content.

I do enjoy some Weird Al, Lonely Island, NSP, Star Bomb, and others as much as the next toaster, but Flight of the Concords is the shit.
