I know for a fact that people here on the Escapist drink coffee
I am one of these who drink between 3 and 5 cups of coffee almost daily
But that's not what I'm asking, I have two questions

1) Do you know coffee brands outside your own country?
My answer for this is no, I have no idea if the coffee people drink in Finland is drank elsewhere or if you guys have completely different brands than us here or if you even have the same brands on your storeshelves

2) Which is you favorite coffee?

1) No. I'm not a coffee enthusiast, so I've yet to put effort into finding other brands. I drink it out of necessity.

2) Tim Hortons. It's pretty much mandatory for Canadians.

1) I don't even know coffee brands in my country.

2) I don't really drink coffee regularly. If I need to, I just buy the...reasonably cheapest one (usually not the actual cheapest - I still want it to not taste like vomit). Although right now I have a couple of hundred caffeine tablets (bought them from eBay - 200mg each), so I don't think I'll need to buy coffee for quite some time. And I can drink them with tea or milk or whatever.

I like a few different brands, all of which must be non-instant. Hate instant coffee these days. So: illy - Italian; Douwe Egberts - Dutch (and everyone mispronounces it); Carte Noire (Kraft) - American... somehow. S'bout it... I have cheap tastes... -_-

I buy green beans and roast them myself, then I grind them to the consistency I need for either espresso or drip coffee. Sometimes I do French press.

Alas, my grinder is out of order and I need to disassemble it. So now, I'm drinking Newman's Own K-cups, and it tastes rather awful.. basically like all coffee brands it is "utility grade", meaning old beans over-roasted and too high in caffeine. Likely covered in fungal mycotoxins like most "warehouse coffee".

Mycotoxins are due to poorly raised/stored coffee beans, they literally grow a fungus on all the beans and it can't be removed even if you roast it. You literally poison yourself whenever you drink the stuff, it's almost immediate, and will give you what everyone refers to as "crashing" after drinking coffee. Coffee isn't supposed to do that, mycotoxins do that, they attack your liver and can even cause scarring to the liver tissue.

Clean, proper coffee doesn't cause crashing and the buzz feels healthier. Though if you drink too much caffeine anyway then you'll get adrenal fatigue... and you get that from "utility grade" stuff along with the mycotoxin. This is why it's not uncommon you feel like a bag of smashed assholes after drinking Starshits.

If you drink alcohol regularly, and you also drink utility-grade coffee everyday on top of it; then it's likely your liver has betrayed you and is actively trying to murder you so it can be put out of it's misery.

I drink lots of coffee (about 6 cups per day). If I haven't had my coffee in the morning my housemates will notice. I get slightly...confrontational

1) Not really. When i'm abroad I don't really pay attention to brand of coffee i'm drinking
2) If I can't be bothered to properly brew coffee and I use instant its usally Douwe Egberts. I can't stand Nescaffe Original.

Nescafe

The 3-in-1 pockets is only coffee I drink. People who are really into coffee might call it crap but I don't like usual coffee taste.

Don't drink coffee because of mycotoxins, stick to tea... I'll be sad if it comes out that that too has it. =(

I drink hardly anything else than coffee. And tried lots of different brands over time. Also Finish ones. Still can´t believe that you have Angry Birds Coffee.
Anyway, for me the best coffee so far comes from Italy. Especially Cafe Inpetto is great.

I drink a lot of coffee, but I'm not too fussy about it. Just give me my cup of Tim's and I'll be happy!

1) No, I honestly do not. Then again, while I do drink coffee, I do not drink it on such a regular basis that I really care either.

2) I haven't tried many for the above reasons, but my favourite is Nescafe Gold. It is somewhat smoother than the non-gold version, which is why I prefer it.

I have mine black with no sugar. Although I only drink it at work as I do early mornings.

1. No, not really, aside from Tim Hortons in Canada and a Jamaican blend I tasted that was very good, but too long ago to remember the name.

2. My brand of choice is Cafe du Monde, the signature chicory-based blend of a New Orleans coffee shop that's famous for its cafe au lait and delicious beignets. I haven't lived in New Orleans for five years, but there's a grocery store in my current city of residence(Atlanta) that sells Cafe du Monde. It's worth the long trek to retrieve it.

I have no idea about out of country coffees, because my absolute favorite is Kona Joe.
Oh and I have to mention that Turkish coffee is delicious. But I've only had it twice

1) Nope. For a while, I just bought a coffee in the morning on my way to the train (50 cent bodega coffee tyvm.) So when I started brewing it myself, I just bought what they used, which was...

2)

Care Bustelo! It's really good. I've got neither the money nor the inclination to be a connoisseur

Thanks for the fun fact :D

OT: As a lowly, poverty stricken 'MURICAN I don't know any brands outside of the U.S.
And the only brand I drink regularly is Wawa brand because I work there and get free coffee. They usually have a selection of "World brews" and I usually get their "Colombian" or "Ethiopian". Lately they have this Caramel shit that tastes godly with a few splashes of french vanilla, "irish cream" or heavy cream and about 3 packets of sugar.

I don't ever crash (in fact coffee makes me sleepy from the start) so it must be decent quality stuff :D
