HELLOOOO ESCAAAPIST, how're you all doing this fine Friday?

Now, I'm British myself, and I'm very intrigued with other peoples thoughts and feelings on all things British. I'm proud, what can I say.

So, what is your favourite thing to come from Blighty? And if you're British yourself, what is it you're most proud of? Or heck, maybe we're totally useless?

Let me know, I'm interested:].

Personally, I'm most proud of our Comedy:'].

Note: Just before we start, make sure you take peoples feelings into consideration. Cracking jokes is all well and good, but just, try keep the trollin' to a minimum okay. Let's gooo!

EDIT: Wow, never expected such a massive response haha, cheers guys, reading though is very entertaining.
One thing though...please remember that I said 'Britain', not England. Some people seem to think it's the same thing haha. Britain includes England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland:].

Munch's fun fact: The British series of The Office is filmed in my hometown. As a matter of fact, I'll be going past Crossbow House later today:'].

That we take credit for Doctor Who AND Harry Potter. My two favorite things to fangirl about, and both from good old Blighty. Rule Britannia!

Its hard to decide between Monty Python and Stephen Fry. They're both so great it hurts.

I love our Tea, our comedy and our self deprecation.

Also, queuing, we love a good queue.

Also, before the bad teeth jokes flood in, the British actually have the healthiest teeth in the world, we're just not as anal about their colour and shape as the Americans...

The breakfast and the humour. Read The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, or watch/read numerous other books/movies/series and you understand:)
The breakfast is just a personal thing. I love it.

Pretty much all media, comedic and dramatic.
No-one even comes close to the broadcasting excellence of the BBC.

Best Brit (except me of course)? I'd have to say Douglas Adams, a man whose writing has had a far greater and more profound effect on my life than any 'Holy Books' ever could.

Monty Python and the accents of the isles. I wish there were more girls over here with a non-american accent

Top Hats.
As a matter of fact, I'm wearing one now. Not a fake, plastic-y, new one, but a really old one, at least 100 years old. Probably more.

I like how people go on about how much booze the brits drink, and we don't really care. We know we do, we just get on with it.

An i agree with the comedy, i always hear about foreign people saying we are funny.

And that we are thee most moany faced buggers on the plannet. Too hot, too cold, we want snow, too much snow, where's the sun ahh there it is , now where the shade? I find it amusing.

I'm Scottish by the way so i'm allowed to say these things about Britain
