Medievil 3 and SW: Battlefront 3 are both in production and being made their original development teams.
The new Tomb Raider reboot will afterall be part of the same canon as the Legend/Anniversary/Underworld trilogy and will further develop the (surprising interesting and well thought out) background mythology to that trilogy.

Team Silent are fed up watching the western world flail aimlessly about trying to make a good Silent Hill game so they decide to reform and take back control of their franchise, creating a new game to rival even SH2. I would sell my soul to Silent Hill itself if this could happen.

Something that could be easily done within the context of the story - after all, you've got Faith who could handle all the freerunning and her sister - Kate was it? - who could focus on gunplay.
Why more shooting in a Mirrors Edge game? Because people are too thick to comprehend a first person game where gunning down enemies is not the characters main activity, it seems.
