Out of my considerable backlog...(ahhh screw it I'm not even going to attempt a list) the next two games I plan on actually finishing are:

The Last of Us 2 - wasn’t even planning on it anywhere near release originally but got swept up in the damn controversy and hoopla. I’m getting close to Abby’s portion I think.

The Witcher 3 - the game that originally topped my list about as many years ago and influenced a new PC build. But like the original that took me about four years to finish I’m taking my taking my sweet time with it. Got about 60 hrs clocked so far and I really like what I’ve played overall, but it’s just...so...massive. It would be easier to stick with if I didn’t have so many smaller games half way finished but I’ve decided to buckle down with it. I’m done with SoulsBorne (NG+ in DS3 sounds good but for another time), so that’s one big conglomerate I’ve checked off the list.

After these I can already assume my next two will be Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Sekiro. Also about waist deep in each of those already.

Well I'm currently downloading Red Dead 2 to tackle that with the wifey, and I'm also playing Octopath Traveler on my PC. So those are probably the next 2 I will finish.

I don't know. I am almost done with My Friend Pedro, but the final levels that are nothing but one or two hit kills in platforming is killing my motivation.

Spider-Man I probably start playing tomorrow.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
Well, of the games I'm playing that you can win. Most of what I'm playing right now don't really have endings, at least yet.

But still working my way through Persona 4.

Dark Souls 2: I can't figure out how to get to the ship in No Man's Wharf (but I haven't given up on finding it on my own), so I'm going to explore the left path of Heide's Tower instead. Got the Ring of Binding, so that makes everything generally a little easier.

Sekiro: Running around the outside of Ashina Castle trying to find a way inside, as well as a miniboss I can actually defeat to finish my heart container. I found Senpou Temple, but I don't have any real reason to go there yet.

Made some more progress on the Tell Tales Batman game. That really seems one I should and can finish on PS4. I have part 2 on my Xbox from Live. I don't want to start it till I'm done with the 1st one.

Looking at the Gamefaqs, I'm 1/2 way done with Detroit: Almost Human. Again, very doable even for an old guy like me.

The only things I can think of at Senpou are Some prayer beads, at least one of which is free if you can find it and The Demon Bell, which makes enemies stronger but improves item drops. Also, you can turn it on/off as you need it . At least until you progress the story a bit further(you'll know when that is). The Bosses of Senpou are pretty unique though.

I will be playing and finishing South Park: The Stick of Truth because I started that again recently as I got a free download code with my copy of The Fractured But Whole. I put it on because I was struggling to find anything that would keep me interested for long. Thankfully this has held my attention for more than a couple of hours.

The next game I will finish is Tomb Raider Definitive Edition which I started and got so far through and got bored of towards the end. I like this game and I blame my boredom on the recent heat making me not want to play games full stop.

Just a few more months they have another game coming your way heheh. ;) But yeah Witcher 3 took me an entire year to complete. Didn't play the DLC b/c by then I just completely had my fill. This was a one and done deal for me. Still a very good game though.

Think I'm about 3/4 in TLoU2 which I think is a terrific game but have been more in the mood for some breezy fun with Dragon Quest 11. Love that game for it's simplicity yet very sophisticated design. It's a game you can leave for months and very easily pick up & play again. I have the voices and music turned off because that is genuinely atrocious. I don't know why this is so bad in a game of such high quality.

About half way through Breath of the Wild. I have never finished a Zelda game. This has got me halfway. That's a complete win

Mainly passing through Divinity 2, though now doing TLoU2 before returning to it cause being exposed to the narrative through a dripfeed of accidentally glanced strongly opinionated internet comments felt like the least entertaining angle to approach the story. Planning on grabbing the upcoming Dying Light: Hellraid DLC when it releases, as it apparently was a cancelled project repurposed into an expansion, which should be mildly interesting at least.

The second season does get pretty entertaining with a Joker origin/Bruce Wayne bromance path. Though the first season does let you stop Two Face from becoming his comic persona if you try hard enough and make certain sacrifices, if that is a desired and not yet known outcome.

Spider-Man and probably Dying Light: The Following.
Both really good ones in my opinion. The Following had a bit of a weird ending for me personally, as I just don't see how either choice can be canon leading into DL: 2, but apparently it will be. *shrugs* Still, really damn fun DLC. I especially enjoyed the going around and doing things to help the different survivor camps. I wish the help I provided was reflected more readily in the camps, but I still enjoy the "helping hand" kind of questing system. I mean if a large portion of the game is me doing missions to help a community, please have that help be actually reflected as the game goes on. But yeah, I love Dying Light content. It's always really fun for me. Very few games have me come back to just casually replay them, but Dying Light is definitely one.

I'm liking it so far. Was expecting glorified DLC but it turns out to be this complete other game that I didn't even know I was getting when I purchased the Enhanced Edition. As far as gameplay loops go I like running around rooftops more than driving through open fields but I'm enjoying it as this entirely unexpected thing.

Yeah I agree with the "rooftops over cars" aspect, but it is pretty nerve-wracking to be driving out at night, with only your headlights illuminating the zombies, with minimal time to respond when you are driving at high speeds. And to suddenly have one of the nastier zombie types suddenly leap onto your vehicle is incredibly unnerving. Still, trying to stealth parkour at night with no lights and no nightvision potions running, way more fun, and intense. xD

And yeah The Following is pretty much another game's worth of content, and pretty damn good content too in my opinion. But Dying Light was just one of those perfect gem games for me personally. It hit all the notes that I didn't really know I wanted in a game, and hit them perfectly. Hell even my wife plays it, and she's not a big direct gamer (usually backseat gamer for me when I play), but she was unusually intrigued by the parkour zombie setting. I think it was the visuals honestly, because frankly some of the vistas you could have in that game were stunning. Being up on a big roof, near sunset, with the amber colors of the sun bathing the city in warm hues of brown and orange, while the sound of the wind blew past you, and the unearthly "middle eastern" style music of Harran played in the background. It was just, REALLY damn good atmospheric storytelling for me, and my wife. Love that damn game.

I finished only two Zelda games: a port of the original game on GBA and Hyrule Warriors.

Last one I played was Breath of the Wild. That was probably the first Zelda game I've played since...maybe the N64 days? I played a little Hyrule Warriors with my god daughters back in the day, but that was just when we'd visit. Nintendo was just not a console I had much personal investment in after a certain age. I went playstation and never looked back.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D and Danganronpa (because a game about having people trapped indoors to bring them into complete despair is totally the kind of escapism I need right now... /s)
