The topic of a person's religion is a controversial one. Their religious beliefs are completely irrelevant to this thread, therefore the only reason that I can think of for them to bring it up is that they are trying to cause trouble.

Trouble only you seem to be having so far.

What's it to you if others state their own personal atheism? How's that "controversial", unless you and your faith actively opposes plurality and freedom of religion?

And as you said, a person's religion is strictly personal, so why bring it up in a thread about Megan Fox?

Because it's fitting to use the personal lack of belief in one thing to jokingly provide a metaphor and point of reference for a similar personal disbelief in another?

She's not really the worst actress there ist... she's just so unlikeable. You know, there are really charismatic actors and even though their range isn't all that big you're always happy to see them in a movie. Megan Fox is the complete opposite of that, the moment i hear she's in a movie i lose interest in it. Somethin about her is just... annoying.

Okay. You can comment on her personality and lack of respect towards people too.

OT: She can't act. She was kind of just "there" in the first two Michael Bay "Transformers" movies and from what I've seen in "Jennifer's Body", she can't act for shit and was only there for her body.

She also lacks respect and when Steven Spielberg has to tell you to fire someone, you listen and hopefully make sure the person in question never works again since they got fired for being a complete asshole. But she's in that movie "Passion Play" so obviously "someone" doesn't care about Spielberg's opinion.

None of what you said should come as a revelation. Look at Tara Reid, for Chrissakes. Only people who can't be honest with their selves about their crushes will claim that she's even a marginal actress. Regarding her "respect" and what happened with Transformers, no one really knows for sure. Michael Bay may be fantastic as a human being, but as a filmmaker he's an asshole.

I personally don't care for Megan Fox for 2 main reasons. 1. She is literally a head-turner. You see one of the tens of thousands of women who look like her in your peripheral vision, and likely your brain will receive a signal telling you to turn your head. But, upon closer inspection, you'll find that she's hot exactly like those other tens of thousands of women, with nothing truly unique about her look. And that her eyes are vacant (Oh my god, I'm getting limp already!). And then she'll likely open her mouth, at which point my arrow will be directed toward the Earth's core. Which brings me to... 2. Fox conducts herself in interviews in a way that makes it clear she's extremely concerned with what other people think about her, and willing to be incredibly insincere to improve this. People who state that we're all inherently bisexual and simply conditioned by society to be straight are just as full of shit as people who say that everyone's straight and that gays and bi's are just perverts or confused. The difference is that the former are trying to impress everyone with what a (manufactured) free spirit they can be. She also said that she used to go to comic-con before she was famous to pick up vintage Ninja Turtle T-shirts. Lying to feed the fantasy of your fans isn't sexy.
