Nothing. Seriously, nothing has changed from me the to me now except I know more people. My posting is similar, my formatting is similar, and really, I've stayed static. Ask me again when I stay for another 2 years, then I'll see what changed. ;-)

I don't tend to look at my old post, I tend to cringe in general when I re-read anything I've written. What I have noticed is that I post more frequently and seem to shy away from making long posts less, so I guess I've become a more confident poster. Whether the acutal content of the posts have improved over the years is still to be determined 
Before, back in good ol' 2008, I used to be the best darn lurker to ever grace the... lurkiness(?) of forums! Then one thing led to another, and I became a lovable oaf! Then later on... I became a cynical member of the internet! Now here I am today... Just a ball of sunshine of what I used to be!

My writing style seems to have changed, and I think my attitude is probably a bit more weary, but I don't think I have changed that much overall. I was a bit too snarky if somebody posted something I considered to be ignorant, and still am really. Although I try and be a little less confrontational (although my manner probably still comes across as aggressive at times). I guess what I mean is that I am not as sarcastic as I used to be.
My perspective overall seems to be pretty similar from the random posts I checked. Although I was terrible at giving advice, even though I meant well.
That said, I am smiling right now (and trying not to laugh) at reading this:

2 years and 700 posts later, i think nothing! i do not like to play forum games. i come here to spout out my opinion because, in the end, it's the internet, and an opinion of a single person will not change the world or make a new scientific breakthrough
Eh its hard to pin down a past self because I tend to adopt whatever opinion i feel like spouting even if its not mine. One day i'm a liberal, the next I say I don't follow politics. On day i'm a hardcore mmo player the next I'd say single player should be the focus.
I figure since i'm pretty anonymous on the internet why not post whatever view interest you at the moment. Keeps things somewhat interesting.

I was really insecure. Talked more than I needed to in a search for attention and affirmation. Other people saw my vulnerability and attacked me viciously. (This was not on the escapist)
