I think enough of us have watched the Matrix to know what a 'glitch in the Matrix' is. Feelings of Deja Vu, anything of the supernatural, things that shouldn't happen but has happened. In the movie series, said events were the programming rewriting itself to correct or attend to a problem perceived by the machines.
I had a semi weird Glitch in the Matrix recently. I was playing Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed on steam (great freaking game) on single player and for some reason, the game was running slowly. I mean, even in the lobby it was running like my computer was made of lag. I clicked for the character select screen several times before it finally allowed me to do so. Once I picked my character, I hit A to see if maybe the lag cleared up.
On the ready screen, where it says who's in the match, it had my nickname. Not my steam name, mind you. The shortening of my real name nickname. I've never put my name on steam. Not once.
Those of you who signed up for steam knows that you don't even need to use your real name to sign up for the service. There is really no reason why the game should have done that or even KNOWN what my nickname was. I was... unsettled.
