I'm sure we all have a specific choice in drink when we feel a little down or are just plain serious. Be it alcoholic or fruity it's limits do not matter.

I prefer milk, very icy cold milk the taste of it is so clean and pure. Plus it cheers me up because it's funny to drink milk from a shot glass.

I haven't exactly resorted to it much because that would basically make an alcoholic at the age of 16, but light beer is mine.
Brands would be Foster's, Carling and Budweiser.
Coors light would be one but that drink just makes me happy which is not what I want when I'm down :/

This one shot my dad makes, I don't even know what it's called and he mixes in all this crazy shit but it's so damned good and it makes you forget why you were sad.

Grape soda in a glass bottle. Because I don't drink. And it's a good thing I don't drink, I would be too good at it.

Drinking alcoholic beverages while depressed is generally not a good thing. In fact, when it comes to difficult or emotional stressful situations, I stray far away from booze.

But if I had to choose something for drinking while depressed ... Okolehao. Yep, if you've had the actual stuff, you will know what I mean.

So when people are feeling down they drink depressants? Seems counter-productive.

I get one of those melatonin sodas... you just sort of become tireder and tireder, and drift off where you don't have to worry about whatever it was.

I prefer to save my booze for happy occasions. I find that if I drink when I'm sad I just get sadder.

Alcohol. Etyl alcohol. 30 milliliters. :p Stronger the better. Whiskey, votka, brandy or tequila if I'm going quality over quantity .

Hm...Slurpee's are pretty awesome.
But I'd say a real quality milkshake. A really, really good chocolate malted from a place like Cafe 50s or Mel's...or a Mint Chip shake...or a Chocolate Elvis shake...that is some goodness right there!

I, on the other hand, never drink alcohol when sad...because alcohol is a depressant and drinking when sad is one of the roads to alcoholism.

I don't need drink to dilute my sadness or rage. Real men swallow it and keep on trucking!

...

Okay fine hot chocolate or something, or anything with chocolate, drinks or otherwise.

I have never seen why people turn to alcohol when sad too. It just seems a bit illogical, and the last thing you'd want when you're feeling down is to 1) feel more down and 2) burn a huge hole in your wallet
